2019 Mandatory: LREC Updates & Addenda

This course covers updates made to the mandatory Residential Agreement to Buy or Sell and includes property disclosure and other addenda that may accompany the purchase agreement. Instructions for accessing your MyLREC account are covered. Actual case studies involving the purchase agreement are also included. You have 90 days to complete this course. This course is certified by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission and ARELLO.

2019 Broker Mandatory

This 4 hour continuing education course is required of all Louisiana Real Estate Brokers for license renewal in 2019, and the course may be taken as an elective by Louisiana Real Estate Salespersons for continuing education credit. This course covers a range of topics relevant to managing a brokerage office. These topics include property management, employment law and supervision of personnel, technology in the real estate practice, license renewal and license status, Fair Housing and ADA compliance, and common violations of the laws and rules. In addition, how to access your LREC email through your MyLREC email account will be discussed. You have 90 days to complete this course. This course is certified by the Louisiana Real Estate Commission and ARELLO.

$25  This is the 4 hour course that is required for all licensees in 2018. The course focuses on custom case studies, clearly articulated via PowerPoint and reading material that cover each point presented in the 2018 mandatory outline. The scenario involves licensees who are in violation and will be presented with best practices to avoid such situations.

$25.00  The course covers homeowner's insurance, errors & omissions insurance, flood insurance, and changes to the purchase agreement.

$25.00 This is the 4 hour mandatory continuing education course required in 2016 for license renewal. The course discusses the role of the Consumer Financial Protections Bureau and the two new required disclosure forms that lenders must use.

Property Measurement & Pricing-Internet

$25.00  This is the 4 hour mandatory continuing education for 2015. This course instructs the licensee in the proper procedures for measuring houses and in preparing a CMA or BPO.

Cost $25.00. This course discusses types of contracts used in Louisiana real estate transactions.

Cost $25  This course discusses the laws are rules governing broker and agent responsibilities.

Cost: $25.00   This continuing education course on Louisiana License Law focuses on license law violations.

Cost: $25.00   This course covers the law governing agency relationships between licensees and members of the public. It includes the mandatory disclosures and their proper forms, description of ministerial acts, definitions and case studies.

NAR Biennial Code of Ethics - Internet
Cost: $25.00   This 4 hour course satisfies the requirement set by the National Association of Realtors for Realtor biennial ethics training.

Rules & Regulations of the LREC - Internet
Cost: $25.00   This course addresses areas of the rules and regulations dealing with licensing requirements, renewals, broker affiliation, escrow accounts and disbursement of funds, transfers, advertising, disclosures, offers and counter-offers, and hearings. The course includes a downloadable copy of the Commission Rules & Regulations book.

Fair Housing & Cultural Diversity - Internet
Cost: $25.00   Fair Housing is the Law. This course will review fair housing law basics; real-life situations involving the practice of fair housing law. It provides examples involving fair housing law; and explains the fair housing complaint process and compliance issues related to advertising which is in compliance with fair housing laws. Learn the basics of cultural diversity and how to handle difficulties that may arise through examples provided in this course.

Cost: $25.00 This course provides students with both the knowledge and understanding of the laws that govern real estate contracts. It also includes a discussion of the various types of contracts and how they are used. Case studies are used as examples of problems that may arise with regard to contract law. 
4 hours credit

Cost: $25 This course discusses financing principles, types of financing, loan types, funding sources, and paymnet plans. It is approved for 4 hours continuing education credit.

Cost $15 This 2 hour course covers advertising rules and regulations for teams and social media.
